真空管リニアアンプの本

　RSGB（Radio Societh of Great Britain）から 2017 年に出版された真空管リニアアンプの本を買ってみました。

これです。

なんで今の時代に真空管リニアアンプの本を買うのかというと、ハイパワー・リニアアンプを半導体で実現するにはかなり高度な技術が要求されます。しかし、真空管の場合、耐性が高いので無理をさせても壊れにくいという特質があります。
Drake TR-4C を使ってみて、真空管 PA が頑張るのを実感できました。
では、真空管リニアアンプを作るかというと、実際には高圧の電源が必要ですし、怖いですから、まぁ本を眺めるだけです。
何しろ、本文の前に「Safety When Working with Valves」の章がわざわざ設けられているくらいですから。
